Iris Sibirica commonly known as Siberian Flag Iris is a margnal plant.
Attractive, free flowering blue with a white and yellow throat.
Despite its name, this plant is a native of Europe, not Siberia.
As with all iris the tubers are harmful if eaten.
It prefers damp rather than waterlogged soil. keep crown well above water surface.
After foliage has died back in Autumn cut back to just above the water surface. If trimming left until spring take care not to damage emerging shoots.
