Iris Pseudacorus 'Variegata' commonly known as Variegated Yellow Flag Iris is a marginal plant.
The early leaf fans bear attractive yellow and green striped variegation, this deepens to green as the plant matures.
The yellow flowers have distinct brown markings.
As with all iris the tubers are harmful if eaten. After foliage has died back in Autumn cut back to just above the water surface. If trimming left until spring take care not to damage emerging shoots.
