Carex Pendula Pendulous Sedge

Carex Pendula commonly known as Pendulous Sedge is a native marginal plant.

Dark green leathery leaves grow upward then droop to form a weeping mound.

The pendulous seed heads can often be seen by streams and brooks.

Little maintenance is required. Trim just above the water surface after foliage has died back in Autumn to tidy.
