Kelkay North Sea Cobbles
Kelkay North Sea Cobbles are a naturally rounded premium Scottish pebble. The grading size is 50-80mm.
These premium Cobbles look fantastic and are an excellent choice to enhance your project. They come in a stunning range of colours that have a beautiful sheen when wet. They can be used for adding instant impact and character. They are suitable for decorative pond edging, water features and are fish friendly.

These rounded pebbles come in a range of natural colours and will give instant impact making your project shine for many years to come.
These very adaptable, attractive cobbles work in a range of situations and will enhance any area used. They are particularly effective when used to decorate ponds. They look particularly good when wet which makes them ideal for water features, ponds and marginal planting. Can be used as a topping for larger pots both indoors and outdoors to help retain moisture and suppress weeds.They are not recommended for driveways or paths as they are difficult to walk on.
When used for groundcover then plan for at at least two layers of stone otherwise there will be gaps between the stones , these look look best when covered.
Depending on your use of this product you may need to plan for Cobbles to be at least 2 layers deep to ensure any gaps between them are covered, if they are likely to be disturbed by people/animals then you may need more.

Size, Colour and Dust information
Sizing: Please note all decorative aggregates are quarried. The size of the product can vary and, in most cases, will be larger than expected. All sizes quoted are only an approximate indication. When cobbles are graded they pass through a grid between 50 - 80mm that means that in one dimension they are within that range. In theory a rod 80mm diameter and a metre long would also pass through the grid. While that isn't likely to happen it does mean that some stones may measure more than the maximum size in one dimension.Colour: Natural products may show some colour variations due to natural changes in rock formation which are beyond our control. We take every measure to keep this to a minimum, but variations are to be expected.Dust: All quarried decorative gravels will contain a certain amount of dust this is caused either by the blasting or digging at the quarries.The dust can be cleared by simply hosing the materials once laid or letting nature take its course by letting the dust wash away over time with rain fall.
